I had just finished up my 8th grade year and was enjoying a memorable summer when The Fugitive came crashing into theaters. Even though it didn't change the face of cinema (like Jurassic Park, which released 2 months earlier, ultimately would do), it did capture the country's (and my) attention.
With breakneck pacing, witty dialogue, and a cat-and-mouse game played to perfection between Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones, this was a movie to remember. At the time, I was aware it was based on a successful television series, but I knew nothing about it and was sucked in from the start. All these years later, I still think it holds up, and if you're in need of a great Friday Night Popcorn flick, I can't recommend this film enough.
To nab this cache, you'll simply need to get in the mind of Deputy US Marshal Sam Gerard...who ALWAYS gets his man! Simply add that which is missing to the Checker and the hunt begins.
Your fugitive's name is Dr. Richard Kimble...Go get him!
